Terrence

Hey everyone,
we just started our ministry sites yesterday. Unfortunately, we have not been able to work with kids yet, BUT we have moved over 100 computers from a 3rd floor down to the 1st and we painted disgusting bathrooms and doors. So the actual ministry sites has been one which we won't be able to see the people enjoy yet, but we know that we are still serving the Lord by doing tasks which would have taken hours with one person or cost alot to afford painters.

On a More SUPER exciting note, the past two mornings have been awesome.
We arrived at our site (At Circle Urban) about an hour early and decided to break up into teams to walk around the neighborhood and hopefully witness to some people. The Lord led us straight to Terrence. God gave me the opportunity to share with Terrence the gospel and offer him a father-son relationship that he didn't seem to have ever had. I believe he wants to pray the prayer of salvation but wasn't quite sure while we were there with him. He kept asking us if we could come back and talk or go to church with him or something, but we were never going back to that particular site.
As happy as I am that he heard the gospel, my heart breaks over the fact that i can't help him in his search for Christ. I had nothing to leave with him except a little salvation booklet, and it hurts so much that i had nothing else to leave him. Continue to pray for him and that God will bring someone to him that can help him grow.
Terrence (age 19) also needs prayer that he can get a job. He just got kicked out of some people's house on the north side and ran out of gas when he got to his cousin's house at 1am where we were at. He slept in his car and really has nowhere to go. Pray that he can find his home in Christ.
i have more awesomeness..but that will be later...it's time for dinner

I am praying for Terrence. I pray that God will continue to work in him, and that one day he will come to know his true Father.
